Surviving In Alaskian Wild

Personally, would not be able to take on the Alaskan wild as McCandless did. He was a lot braver than I would ever be. Although, I would attempt to be as adventurous as him and see if I could live off the land. I would definitely go more prepared than he did. I probably would bring some fancy gadgets and emergency equipment for survival. I'd most likely bring someone with me, if anyone, my dad. I don't know if I would make it out there alone, it would freak me out especially at night. My dad is a big hunter/outdoorsmen. He's also very smart and knows what he's doing when he's out in the wilderness. I would feel safe and know we would survive if he was with me. It would be fun to see how well we could live off the land, but it would not be permanent experience. I would not leave my whole entire life behind and drop everything for that way of life.
